Power 1 Energy Company Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Chicago, IL, United States, 2023/02/06 – Power 1 Energy Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Fred W. Bonewell as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) effective January 1, 2023.

Fred brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role having served at Louisville Gas & Electric, Florida Power & Light, Enel in Rome Italy and CPS Energy the largest municipal utility in the US where he held several key leadership positions reporting to the CEO. Fred will oversee day-to-day operations of the company and will work closely with CEO Ed Jenks, CAO Katie Widmar and the executive team to drive strategic growth emphasizing P1EC’s customer centric philosophy and focusing on the continual improvement of the operational model.

Fred will also retain his role as Director of P1EC’s Board of Directors. Mr. Kelley is the retired Chairman President and CEO of the USAA Real Estate Company and Mr. Vince is the Chair of Denton’s Energy Practice.
